Hotel Tricks
Make the most of your stay in this family-run gem with a few local tips. Ask the owners for their daily fresh seafood recommendation; they often know which market stall in the locality has the best catch of the day, and they may even prepare it for you for a really authentic and inexpensive dinner.
Head left out of the hotel garden and walk for 10 minutes along the shore to a more secluded and pristine stretch of sand. Ideal for a private morning swim or a romantic sunset. If you’re renting a motorbike to see the sand dunes, do it in the morning; that intense heat in the middle of the day is no joke.
For a more local experience, get up early one morning and walk 15 minutes to Mui Ne Fishing Harbour- the view of the colorful fleet’s return with last night’s catch is both lively and photogenic, something you can’t forget. If you stay on for quite a few days, the hotel has a self-serviced washing system too.
Best Wi-Fi connection is in the open-air dining and lounge area by reception where the strongest signal can be attained. And do not miss out on just sitting around the hotel’s hammocks in the garden; hearing the waves with a bit of wind play is Mui Ne luxury.
